PINEAPPLE 33 FORD Gets a dash!

I aquired a large section of a VW Bug which gave me ALL of the A pillars from bottom hinge to mid windshield, The whole dashboard, and some of the surrounding panels. Going by EYE I had a feeling the Bug dash would be a good fit into the 33 cab... So I sectioned it all down until I had just the dash panel to work with.

I had to move SLOW on this one. Rectangle patch on SPLITWINDOW BUS long panel. TAC welding with solid penetration, air quenching to hault distortion, jumping around to evenly place heat, grinding over the tacs, repeating until fully welded. THEN light planish to correct distortion and file! easy?
